What did I do today?
Today I left some dishes dirty
The bed got made around 3:30

The diapers soaked a little longer,
The odor grew a little stronger.

The crumbs I spilled the day before
Are staring at me from the floor.

Love that-yes being a Mum at home is a VERY important job. There might not be anything to show for it at the end of the day but hopefully the work we put in now will turn our beautiful babies into beautiful grown ups:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful poem and so very apt for me. Being a stay at home Mum is one of the most important jobs as a parent if you can manage it. The world needs to value us a whole lot more than they do, we are raising the next generation.
